The Animal Emergency Centre Canberra [AECC] was established in 2003 and initially operated from premises in Torrens Street, Braddon.  In 2009 the Centre relocated to brand new hospital facilities at Unit 15, 2 Yallourn Street, Fyshwick.

The emergency service is currently open every night from 6pm to 8am, and all day on weekends and public holidays.

From November 2014 the AECC is joining forces with The Animal Referral Hospital Canberra. We aim to provide 24 hour referral services in the coming months.

Patients seen at the AECC are referred back to their usual veterinarian when they are medically stable.  All medical records, histories, and digital radiographs are forwarded to the usual veterinary hospital after the pet has been seen at AECC.

In an emergency, phone the Centre and bring your pet to the Hospital at 2 Yallourn Street, Fyshwick during opening hours.
